Gregory Freitag sadly passed away in Portland, Oregon during late Summer this year (August 5, 2025).  Greg attended Christ the King grade school and graduated from Ingraham High School in Seattle, Washington, and from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington.  Greg had worked in various service occupations in Washington State and in Portland, Oregon. During High School, Greg learned to fly and soloed.  Greg was an artist and a writer, who with ease sketched and painted aircraft and trains from memory in minute detail.  Greg had a photographic memory and could cite verbatim what he had read from a book or from a journal.  He aspired to publish a novel but was unable to fulfill that dream due to his long-term illness and his death.  Greg will be remembered by those who loved him as having a kind and generous spirit.  A funeral Mass will be held at St. James Cathedral in Seattle, Washington on Tuesday, November 4, at 10:30 AM, with a reception following. In addition, there will be a Graveside Inturment at Holyrood Cemetary, 205 Northeast 205th Street, Shoreline, WA 98155 on November 4, 2025 from 1:00-1:30PM.
