Cheryl Eriksen Van Voorhees

I got married in 1983. I worked for just a few months short of 35 years for Quest Diagnostics. I retired in 2014 to care for my Mother, who passed away in November 2014. My husband and I just returned from a trip across the USA to go to a magic convention in Louisville, Kentucky. My husband won the Pacific Coast Association of Magicians contest in stage magic in 1967 & 1968. We are now in the process of creating a show since he retired from his job in 2016. We now have been in 30 of the 50 states together.

I joined a Toastmasters group in 2010 to get over my intense fear of public speaking.

There was a shop teacher Mr Lauber at Ingraham whom I never had as a teacher. When we went to my 40th high school reunion who should be walking up at the same time we were was Mr Lauber, who is my husband's Aunts brother. Someone at the reunion my husband knew since he went West Seattle and graduated in 1968.
